Going Home

£30.00

A few years ago, I read an article about the death of Lolita, an orca who had been kept in captivity for over 50 years. Although plans were in place for her release, she sadly passed away before it could happen.

This story inspired the print above, reflecting the idea that only in death was Lolita finally free and able to return to her family.

Through my work, I aim to raise awareness of animal injustice, climate change, and other issues affecting our world.

Hand-printed on sustainable Lokta paper using Cranfield Prussian Blue ink, and hand-painted with Essdee gold ink. The print measures approximately 11 cm × 14 cm. Please note that variations in colour, including lighter and darker areas and occasional ink spots, are a natural part of the printing process.
