The Inspiration Behind the Prints
Freckled Ink Prints began with a simple love for the art of lino printing. Inspired by the textures, the process, and the unique character of each handmade print, we set out to create art that tells a story. Each piece is carefully carved and printed, reflecting our dedication to quality and artistic expression. We want to offer unique art that inspires and uplifts.
Hand Crafted
Each lino print is meticulously handcrafted in Kate's Somerset studio in Ilminster, ensuring a unique and high-quality piece of art. Each design is special in it's own way offering a unique story.
Note- Part of the printing process, there may be spots of ink that is different from another, also ink may appear lighter on some prints. This is part of the print process and makes every print special in it's own way.
Sustainability
From the very beginning, sustainability has been at the heart of Kate’s vision. Every step of her creative process is guided by a commitment to using eco-friendly and responsibly sourced materials.
All packaging and materials used in her prints are chosen with care — cardboard and paper are fully recyclable, paper is sourced from sustainable, tree-free suppliers, and packaging is made from biodegradable cellophane.
Kate believes that art should not only inspire, but also respect and protect the environment that fuels her creativity.
